What is happening: Analysts claim that if the US make some improvements to infrastructure, they could account for 20-30% of the world’s liquified natural gas supply.

Terminals: There are currently 25 proposed LNG export projects on the table in America. 13 of these could get approval within the next year.
Decision: Companies will now have to decide whether to move ahead with these new terminals, as they compete with global opposition from Canada, Qatar, Russia, Australia, and other countries.
