What is happening: Indigo Agriculture have released a new tool to help farmers ship and haul agricultural goods.
Tool: The automated freight brokerage tool allows farmers to sell and transport dry agricultural goods in bulk. They can even hand over the transport responsibilities to Indigo themselves via the platform. It also allows people to choose loads, taking into account location, price, and the company.
Popular: Indigo say it already has thousands signed up and vetted.
What can be sold: The platform only currently supports corn, wheat, soybeans, and rice, as well as other non-grain bulk goods, as long as they can be transported via hoppers.
Future: Indications suggest Indigo plan to expand in the future.
